    It's 7pm Feb 18th in eastern time Canada... they don't work 24/7 ... probably 8 to 4.

People think they do work 24/7, it's a company not a hospital! People need to calm down and wait till the end of the 19th in Waterloo.

And even then it's up to your carrier as to when they push the button. Could be days, weeks or months later still.

How is it that n4bb is constantly providing exclusives on BlackBerry. Remember when Crackberry used to do that.

It's not just "someone". It's n4bb who has proven time and again to be a credible source. I think if they are hanging it out there like they are it is very very likely gonna happen.

You're missing the point. It's always been a February launch, there's nothing exclusive about that. BlackBerry announced it at the Classic event. Bringing it down to a day means ABSOLUTELY nothing in terms of when it will roll out to everyone. It's all still based on carrier releases and people are still going to be waiting lol. TELSTRA for example is calling for a mid-March release, so sure, BlackBerry will likely announce it tomorrow (BB Elite members had their meeting for it today) and some people will get it tomorrow but no matter what, you're still going to have people waiting for it. I guarantee you a month from now, people will still be asking 'Where's my 10.3.1 update!' because they failed to read the fact its still carrier based. Just like EVERY other OS roll out that has ever happened.

True. But if it is a widespread release it is nice to know the specific date.

The rumor, backed up by outside sources, is that the release will be at 9 am EST, which is just a little less than 11 hours from now. I already have the PP, and am using a leaked OS, but I stopped in my local AT&T store today and they all said that the Passport and Classic would be available on Friday. So the worst case for the official release will be Friday, since a carrier can't sell a device without an OS available for backup. The only interesting question is whether the OS release will be a late 10.3.1 version. It's hard to imagine it will be anything later than 10.3.1.2267, knowing AT&T, but a surprise would be welcome. Actually, it wouldn't be a surprise, it would be a shock.

But you'll only get timeframes. Look at every other OS announcement post ever.

You mean like most every other press release put out by BlackBerry? They set 9AM EST and 12:15 EST for the majority of their press releases. - http://www.marketwired.com/AdvancedS...d-85152cc5ebf5 Tell ya what, if it doesn't appear at 9AM come back and check at 12:15PM. If it's not here by then, it's not coming heh.

Less legitimate than official and more legitimate than just rumor. To me, the release within 36 hours or so is certain, but within 12 hours much less so. I just doubt they'll catch up with the current leaks, even for a short time.
