Well #1, It's based on the time here in Waterloo Ontario Canada, which means they will be on business hours of 9am-5pm EASTERN TIME. #2 BlackBerry isn't in charge of YOU receiving the update today, that is up to your carrier... So yes, some carriers may start pushing the update by 12pm EASTERN TIME today, but don't be surprised if it takes a few hours after that to actually get your update. #3 The world does NOT revolve around you....

You're missing the point. It's always been a February launch, there's nothing exclusive about that. BlackBerry announced it at the Classic event. Bringing it down to a day means ABSOLUTELY nothing in terms of when it will roll out to everyone. It's all still based on carrier releases and people are still going to be waiting lol. TELSTRA for example is calling for a mid-March release, so sure, BlackBerry will likely announce it tomorrow (BB Elite members had their meeting for it today) and some people will get it tomorrow but no matter what, you're still going to have people waiting for it. I guarantee you a month from now, people will still be asking 'Where's my 10.3.1 update!' because they failed to read the fact its still carrier based. Just like EVERY other OS roll out that has ever happened.

BlackBerry took a special life insurance policy out on every customers PIN number and expects to collect a ton of money when people start dropping dead on the 20th because there's been no update.

Yes, they included a special suicide rider. From these forums they predict at least 1000 deaths at a million dollars a head. That might keep BlackBerry sitting on some more cash.

Of course they won't use it to being more OS 7.1 features to BB10 in a new OS release. They won't use it to hire back the good people that used to make BlackBerry great. They won't use it to make a slider.

They'll just add it to the 3 billion they have and sit on it and play the fiddle while all its absurdly loyal users (including me) burn using their product.

My question is what ver will be overwriting my current OS when the official OS arrives (whenever that may be). Thanx in advance..a little info now...I have emailed my Carrier (Tuenti Movistar Spain) asking if they handle the update and they have replied back to me saying BlackBerry themselves will push the update. I know its not the same for every carrier but just felt like sharing the intel. Hasta Luego Amigo!

You will get the update when it comes because it is a higher version from what you are on now.
