So it's only for Z30 that got the OTA update.

Does it mean we will see different builds for different devices? My guess is yes. This time it looks to be quite a possibility.

Unlikely Prateek. They may be working on optimising the same build for other models. It's highly unusual to see a different build for each device.

In the end it has to converge at some point. Otherwise, one runs a risk of fragmenting the user base even further.

I suppose, Z30 had bigger number of issues / bugs, and hence had to be addressed earlier.

- pathetic radio performances
- too much hardware and memory eater. just too heavy os.
- sucking camera especially at night
- too much focus on going cross platform and the highly demanded is yet to get all features, BBM.
- Android run time update is quite slow. They need to move faster than competition to get ahead of them
- they make apps and then forget to update them. Read BBM meetings and blend.
- they have simply stopped listening to consumers feedback. And result is poor 10.3 roll out

As much as I like my Z30, I need to agree to all of your points. Good summery of the core problems of BlackBerry. Especially the - stopped listening to customers feedback -

However, every time I'm using another device I miss the BlackBerry from the first second.

Android is laggy as hell. It's so confusing and "googly", it's tacky. It's really not for me.

iPhone is... well, iPhone. Good camera, fast and an alright design. But the OS is so annoying. So many clicks to get "things done". Until you find out that iPhone is just an MP3 player with the ability of very very poor phone calls. The call quality is even crappier than the old wireless phone from my parents from the year 2000. Using an iPhone is realising that it's the most inefficient and not productive device out there.

Every time I'm using another phone, especially the iPhone I miss the HUB.

The Hub and the calendar from OS10.2.1 are the best things ever for productivity.
Unfortunately they took away the 10.2.1 calendar. I wonder what's next what they destroy.



Since the 1767 update I have problems with the Whatsapp. Just two days ago.

I am received the messages 2 hours later or just when the whatsapp App is opened.

I've heard 10.3.1767 is better than 1565. I don't like the incoming call screen. It was nicer on 10.2... that's why I've downgraded from 10.3 to 10.2.But I love my BlackBerry Z30! I wouldn't change it with another phone on the market. Maybe just with an newer model I hope BlackBerry will listen to all of us and in time will make the os running like no other on the market. I will watch the forum an when all good I will update my phone. Till then...10.2 for me!

Just received the notification for the update on my unlocked ShopBlackBerry Z10 and Q10 and I'm updating OTA currently. 57 MB on my Z10 and 62 MB on my Q10. I'm in Denver, Colorado on AT&T.

After the mega 1GB 10.3.1.1565 few days back, i've just received 102MB. Does anyone know what is this about? Please tell me they have corrected the Calendar to its glory days and the notification sounds are back to what they were earlier!

I installed it today and it takes a very long time to update. Until this time, my Z30 still shows the 'BlackBerry' logo and no progress after being asked to reboot. I did that around 16.00 on my local time zone (GMT+7). I saw other forums that mentions that a 7mb update took 2 minutes to be installed. I calculated the length of time needed and may take up to 5 hours to be installed. Please note that a GB is equivalent to 1024 MB, based from the memory bit count (while Google says 1000 MB, based from the indexes of measurement: 1 Giga = 10^9).
