I'm sure there are plenty of people here that would agree, but no matter what happens to BlackBerry at this point, they need to be congratulated for all their hard work in bringing us BB10. I've always owned a BlackBerry smartphone and they've never failed me. BB10 is by far the best mobile OS I've used. Thanks so much for bringing such an enjoyable platform!

Definitely. It must be upsetting to work so hard for BlackBerry while the bad press has nothing to do with them. I've used my Z10 since Feb 5th and it still feels fresh. This is a testament to every employee at BlackBerry for making this a reality. Great thread OP, unfortunately this topic get lost at times. I'm hoping that BlackBerry can get out of this Black Hole and the employees get the respect they deserve by millions of customers enjoying their inovations.

Totally agree. The whole collection of features that this Z10 has is just about a perfect fit for my needs. I've even bought more apps than I thought I would ever want. Thank you to all the folks at BlackBerry.

I to have had my Z10 since February. For a long time I would take my PlayBook everywhere to augment my mobile computing. Two weeks ago I bought much stronger reading glasses and three days ago I added SayIt. Yesterday I realized, I'm not using my PlayBook anymore. I'm on my Z10 for all my mobile computing.

The Z30, with that slightly larger screen will be about perfect. For that I say, thank you BlackBerry engineers, coders, designers, architects, testers, project managers and others. Your great work has produced an excellent mobile computer. I'm sorry your board of directors and C suite colleagues aren't up to your level.

I wish a lot of those people that write negative articles about BlackBerry would actually give their products a chance. I wonder how many of them have actually tried a BlackBerry device before they start to write their negative articles with negative headlines. I honestly feel that BlackBerry has a superior OS on the market. To each his or her own, but I hope people would try giving a BlackBerry device a chance before downplaying them. Being Canadian, I too wish that my fellow Canadians would support their own companies and take pride in them. Why doesn't BlackBerry include in part of their advertising that they are Canadian? I guess because they cater to an international market, as opposed to someone like Tim Hortons that is geared mainly toward Canadians.

I could not agree more. I live in Canada and work in the public sector, it pains me that many of my colleagues have switch to android and apple products. I know that the media caused them to do that too. If they lose their public sector jobs there will be one less choice for them in the private sector. They don't know how awesome BlackBerry 10 really is.

I'm also taking a class at one of the local universities and one of my classmates is really having a hard time finding a job in Canada. Needless to say they are rocking an ipad and iPhone. I can't help but feel my fellow Canadians are doing it to themselves and are wondering why at the same time.

If job creation is a major political platform next election I will be sorely disappointed at my fellow citizens who think job creation comes from voting in a politician. If BlackBerry's current products were no good I could understand this but the misconception out there is beyond high.

My message to the blackberry CEO and management is this, grow a pair find the right marketing and take pride in your own product. Why did you decide to create your own platform all those years ago? Did you think it would be easy? It is clearly not a case of if you build it they will come. Get as many z10s in people's hands as possible. The longer the phone stays on the factory floor is insuring your demise, which in my view is right now is becoming a self fulfilling prophecy in order to sell a great company.

I agree with OP. If anything was to happen I'd also loose my hobby, which is BB10 programming. And I don't know which platform I would use after my Z10 would die
