Why can't he release BlackBerry android to the BlackBerry os device. Is it possible r not?

It is not possible.
Because there would be no return on investment, would cost them a fortune, and would be dumb.
Right. If they kept improving old phones, consumers would never buy new ones.
It's possible for some of the phones, but not the passport.
But it's not about whether it is possible, it's about whether it makes sense. Chen would have to lose his mind before investing in a BB Android distribution for old phones.
Conet, U told d exact fact.... even they have provision they won't

Doesn't the PP have a square screen though?

Right, which is why it's not possible on Passport since the Passport can't be certified for official Android.
Right. I misread your post.

Compare the possibility of getting an Official release of Android on the existing BlackBerry 10 devices with what I am saying next:
A friend of mine will not get an official release of Android N on his Note 4.

It's possible but it would take an excessive amount of work for not much benefit. Modern Android doesn't support square screens so that rules out the Passport, Classic and Q-series.
The Z's are also pretty outdated and nobody will be buying them anyway since all that are available now are used.
And on top of that, they have to deal with chipset compatibility and other low-level stuff. So all that is unlikely to happen, even the Nougat update isn't guaranteed for the Priv and DTEK's and that would be much easier to do than a complete OS swap on old hardware.
