This doesn't void warranty for two reasons:
1. They wouldn't be able to tell what or unless they looked. And even then you can say that it's a dev version (bit of a white lie) and that you are a dev
2. The warranty only covers hardware, not software

Yup 100% working. Flip up to wake and flip down to save power (it just goes in standby, nothing special) work. I don't know about flop to mute as I don't use it but I've heard people had success with it

One bug I have found is with the camera. If you change to normal photo mode the viewfinder seems to lag a bit and I have found that sometimes it won't save the photo. Only on normal mode. I have found the rest of the os to be smooth.

Not a fan of a few icon choices, the default weather app looks off. The calendar icon has a green date inside I think black would have been better. I love the remember app design. The pictures icon could've been better too. Maps looks nice as well.

I like the 10.3 UI, but..

Why did they change the active frame to a white border on the bottom? And what I really dislike about 10.3 is that you cannot tap anywhere to take a picture, I really liked that feature. Also those little boxes (3 dotted menu and back button) on the button that I see constantly in screen shots. When you scroll on a Q10, do they disappear?

I've actually sent my phone back for warranty with leaks on it and they just return it with the official.

The OS is really nice, but I hate the stupid centered blue circle in every app that lives on the action bar and pushes and covers up information onscreen. So distracting.

Also, and I'm sure it wiill be remedied by official launch, but the calendar app has been messed up. Both UI and UX are a mess when the 10.2.1 calendar was perfect.

We'll dude I don't expect a lot from an Android runtime in my opinion it's pretty impressive having a device that runs it's core os and another one without reboots and hassles, it's about how nice the core os looks and feels if your android runtime is broken go and buy a android phone

Completely agree. It is really annoying on the Hub. It feels like it crowds out the content and dominates the whole screen. What’s worse, it frequently highlights actions that don’t really need highlighting, like Reply All instead of Reply when reading an email (it even does that when there is just one recipient, that’s some lost attention to detail).

Depending on your wallpaper, it can completely ruin the look. I liked the transparent black a lot more before.


Overall, I am already a bit tired of the all-white look of the Hub. It’s just not a pleasant sight. A lot of white and light grey, black and dark grey text and a garish blue bubble at the bottom. It’s too monochrome, too indistinctive, too clinical. It has lost its distinct character. I am not really a fan of dark themes either. The bright theme of 10.2 was better for me.

What I like about 10.3 are the improvements under the bonnet. Animations appear more fluid and have a snappiness to them, making the experience overall more pleasant. Active Frames are now opened at the bottom of the list instead of pushing away the top-left one, making them stick to their place (and you can drag them around too!). The Android runtime is more responsive. Overall, despite my disappointment with the new look, the upgrade is satisfying.
