I have installed the non-destructive and the non-desturctive blitz versions with Sachesi 2.0.
both finish install, saying update complete.

phone restarts and I still have my old os.
has this happened before? am I doing something wrong?

Each time the phone has rebooted after "successful install" only thing showing that's been updated is the radio

While Blitz being installed did you see each file getting installed?

Since you already had a 10.3.1.X OS, you can safely backup and restore your data. I did at least. Run an auto loader. Save a lot of hassle.

I will ask this too, did you install the core OS as well?

I had a 10.3.0 os before doing the first non destructive install.
Then after that did nothing but show a 10.3.1 radio file I tried the blitz. Same results.
Yes, it installed all the files. First was 202 blitz was 201. And yes, core os was definitely installed. I followed all the directions step by step, and saw core os as one of the last few during the install.

Sic wipe. Do it before installing the new desired os.

FIRST, do a hard reset (pressing and holding down BOTH volume keys until phone reboots), and see if that solves the problem. If not, then I would highly recommend that you back up your device and use an autoloader.

My rule of thumb is that when doing a "major" OS update (10.0 to 10.1, 10.1 to 10. 2.0, 10.2.0 to 10.2.1, 10.2.1 to 10.3.0, and even 10.3.0 to 10.3.1), use the Autoloader, but when doing a "minor" update (all within the same major OS [10.3.1.800 to 10.3.1.938], unless your phone is having unusual issues BEFORE the update, use Sachesi.

There is a place for the SIC wipe, but it is far overused. It is NOT necessary for EVERY install. It should be used as a last resort. If you just updated your phone two weeks ago, why do another security wipe? That is like using a hammer to kill a fly. Usually an autoloader will do the trick if you're having issues.

Did you open a separate window with 1151 Blitz and then drag and drop folder onto Sachesi window?

That feels logical and sensible, but I have yet to successfully reload a 10.2-derived backup onto an autoloaded 10.3 install. So, non-destructive blitz is the next thing to try.

You are correct on that point. I don't restore from Link for that very reason. I should have made that more clear, and for that I apologize. I use the different apps (Backup Pro, etc.). I'm just saying that it is not necessary to thoroughly wipe the phone before every update, for it seems like overkill.

Keeping the blitz file as a .zip and dragging it on to Sachesi has given a problem. I extract the .zip and drag the folder onto Sachesi. It's one less thing Sachesi has to do (extract the archive) and works flawless for me ever since.

You need the newest Sachesi version to drag a zip folder onto window...just sayin.
