Hi Team,

I have a doubt, i have a laptop from where i can connect to internet using broadband , i dont have a physical router and virtual router wont work since antivirus is enterprise one cannot be disabled.
Is there a way i can the get the internet to work on the blackberry phone from laptop using USB ?

I don't think so using USB. But if you have a newer laptop, you may be able to share the laptop's Wi-Fi.

So u have a work laptop with internet but u have either ethernet cable or wifi with the password unknown to you so you cant just go connect your mobile to the work network, but that's exactly what you want to do.
If you don't have admin rights to the laptop you wont be able to set up what you want to do.

Your laptop I think will need to be connected to the network over ethernet, need to act as an access point and proxy server for the phone over a diferent LAN you set up over wifi. In configuring this you will most likely loose your work wifi password the one you dont know so youll have to figure a way to back that up wont you.

Just pay for a small data plan, you know it makes sense.

Data plan is ruled out since its a office sim card,
I just want to know if i can use internet available on the laptop to mobile with virtual wifi since its blocked by firewall.

Try to download Connectify, just search it.
It will share your desktop's Internet to other devices using personal ad-hoc.

I said firewall will block i tried with connectify and mhostspot both are getting blocked.

Whatever the internet running on laptop can it be transferred to mobile?
