Installing SwiftKey on BlackBerry 10 - It Works!
For all of you SwiftKey, and other 3rd party keyboard lovers out there, I just installed SwiftKey on my Z3 running 10.2.1.
It works fine, just as intended. BUT, it only works when you're using an Android app. It will default to the BB keyboard when using BlackBerry native apps. So for most day-to-day use, you'll still be using the BB kb.
Here's how to do it..
By the way, I didn't figure this out. Another CB user did and posted it. I'm just repeating it in another new post. Forgive me for not knowing their name. I'll check into it and give them full credit later..
EDIT: You can thank SCrid2000 for this method. Thanks!
I'm assuming you have Snap or the Amazon store app installed and know how to use it. If not, check other posts.
1. First, you need a launcher to enable the KB, the BlackBerry native settings can't do it. Go to the Snap /Amazon store app, search for the ADWex launcher, download and install it.

2. Next, Download and Install SwiftKey (or whatever 3rd party KB you want). Run through the entire set up. When you get the the end where it says to ENABLE SwiftKey, you can't. So stop here.
3. Open the ADWex app and find the Settings icon. NOT ADW setting, just Settings (note the icon in the screen shot below)
Then, Go to "Language and inputs" and enable SwiftKey. Also, set it as your default KB. It will show BlackBerry kb as your default. Don't worry. This only effects android apps, not native ones. Exit.

4. You're done!
Launch an Android app and it should pull up the SwiftKey KB now. You can customize it just like in the native android app. Just go to settings and tailor it however you want. It works as normal.
Have fun!
