I have installed 10.3.0.700 on my z10 stl100-1

It's very smooth and fast. Almost daily driver.
Android apps installing much faster than 10.2.1
But few problems.

**I loaded bars for media player, picture viewer and recorder but none of icon displayed.
**Could not found alarm clock.
**Night mode not working.
**Any gallery app?

Try, Try, Try again....

Loading the BAR files should get you the missing apps that 10.3.0.700 does not have.
Alarm Clock should be there... just doesn't work, no mater what you do. Need a 3rd party app
NIGHT MODE?? It was missing for me too.

I can see the bar files from installed apps but icons not visible on screen for media player, picture viewer and recorder.
Do I have to use another bar files. I am using updated bar files for. 700 archive

Search icon on bottom of screen is also not working.

10.3.0.700 is.... for someone that knows what they are doing.


I tried it, I played with it, but I couldn't live with the problems I experienced. So I can't really help you except to say... the 10.2.0.296/400 Hybird is more of an almost ok for everyday usage. But 10.2.1 is where you should be if you want a stable and usable device without spending hours and hours swamping around BAR files.

Interesting thing with STL-1. it doesn't have ringtone issue with 10.3.0.700

I definitely know what I am doing.
There is nothing new in mixing/modding OS files for me. I used to be a ROM developer at times of WM 6.1 to 6.5

I asked this because someone might have tried these things on stl100-1. Who can advice me correct/working bar files.

Have you done an sec wipe after install this leak yet? And remember, don't restore your settings, use third party app to save your contact. I'm running on stl100-1 now, no problem so far (except alarm clock and bedside; fixed by third-party app). For the search button to work, reboot your phone after installing the search bar. Btw, I'm using bar files from this thread http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...-700-a-941849/

i try 700 on my stl-1?but it's not that smooth and it has BBM notification issue. Anyway it looks much more beautiful and I pretty love it. Can't wait the next version of 10.3.

No, I didn't sec wipe after installing .700. And I didn't restored anything. Got contacts from Google sync.
OS is running so smooth and fast. Without any problem. Even after full day use battery still remain at 65%.
The only hiccup is alarm, bedside mode and search.
I install bars from same thread. But icons not displayed even after reboot. I used second update link in that thread. Mega is not working here.

Alarm, Bedside mode, and Search were known issues with this leak. No issues with the media apps here. Try reloading the OS and bars maybe?

I security wipe after installing then installed bar file then full restored my. 4xx back up. Everything works fine with me except alarm, bedside, and search is changed to intelligent assistant but i think it's not working. I believe there's an additional bar files for. 700 posted by adam i think, just search the threads

Preloaded wallpapers can't be used. You need to download them then set them as wallpapers.


Too lazy to upload them all haha. Cb should make a select file(s) to upload not one by one.

thanks. i've found the issue. i loaded pictures.bar from 296 and everything goes well.

another issue: after +/- 3 hour loaded 700, i tried to restart. after restarting, my virtual keyboard didn't work.
i have to reload again.

is there any other solution instead reload?

Others say putting it to silent then a hard reboot will fix it. Try. Mine is working, tried the step above.

Wow, i only get like 13 hours max with min usage but 6-8 for heavy usage.

My story makers didn't work.
Which bar should I load?
I've load mmagic.bar and video_editor.bar.
But when it' being installed by sachesi, it always stuck on 50% progress.

Oh yeah. My picture viewer sometimes show blurry images. I've to close it and reopen it in order to get well. But it's happened again and again.

Is there any solution?
