I recently purchased my 2nd Z10 (STL100-4). Mostly so I could play around with leaks, but also so I had a backup phone since I rely heavily on it for my job.

The phone has not been activated with my carrier (Verizon) yet. But before doing so, I am curious to ask which is better:
Activate the phone with Verizon, then install a leak?
Or, install a leak, then activate it with Verizon?
    Does it even matter?
Are there benefits to doing one or the other?
And more importantly, which is the most stable leak for the Z10 that includes the radio file and everything else so it doesn't require a lot of futzing?
My goal is to install the leak, restore a backup and quickly be up and running again.

I honestly don't think it should matter.

As far as most stable OS, many people have different definitions of stable....some are willing to put up with some quirks for the sake of good battery life.

I like to observe people's reactions to leaks. I read their input. Then base my decision on what is important to me after reading what they say.

Oh, and one more question. Can an older 10.1 backup file be restored on a more recent 10.2 leak?

I've sometimes experienced bugs with some apps while restoring data when there is a major upgrade, which this .2 would technically be.

Since using the latest link I've never failed restoring my data. But i didn't do any security wipe. Twice i had problem restoring when i did the wipe and it finally succeed after keep trying for several times. Didn't know what was causing the restoring problem but since it happened every time i do the wipe, never done any wipe afterwards.

You may find the leaks are more stable than the vzw release versions. For everything I do it is the case...running 1767 very happily for a business user.
