You need to have .bar file of that App. Nope, cannot use BlackBerry Link to install those .bar files.

    Via Z10. OS 10.3.2.2876

The officially supported way to install a BAR file without BlackBerry World or the Beta Zone is by using the developer tools which are free to download. There are other methods as well, search for installing BAR.

    For example:

    For example:
Sideload.it - sideload any BAR files for FREE (no computer needed!!!) - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com

I found some .BAR file but most of them are .apk file that converted to .BAR and after extract you can see a .apk file.

Read the first post in the thread. If you have problems post to their BBM channel. If you don't get a reply they may have stopped supporting it. That happens with unofficial as well as official products, search for another solution. That is the way things work when you are trying to do something which is not officially supported.

This method is extremely unreliable and will be very frustrating to use. I would recommend Sachesi for installing .bar files but of course you need a PC for that.

This does not work reliably. If you have a PC you can easily install .bar files with Sachesi (I use version 2.0.0 on Win 10 and Win 7-works great.).

You can use the chrome browser with the playbook plugin installed in chrome, don't forget to put your phone in developer mode first.

After that you just install the bar file using the chrome browser.

With Sachesi (or DBBTool, for that matter, which can also be used to load .bar files), you don't need to put the phone in developer mode.

You can't download .bar files. Most of them are .apk files that converted to .bar.

Sure you can download (and install) BAR-Files. Try this one https://github.com/thurask/bbdownloader/releases

You can't. You can only install the wide and varied selection of bar files available on here/GitHub.

So bb10 devices are highly exposed to the BBworld service and the performance of BlackBerry as company.

I mean supposing that bbworld close in 2years, we will not be able to install apps in our old devices, which maybe we will not use as our main phone but they can still being used for many specific tasks.

    Fortunately, we can install apks....

As people told you already - you can always sideload apps with different tools. So if BBworld closes you can still install native apps. Not many, but still, you can.

The only way to get native app bar files is if the developers make them available outside of BBW.

There are only a few (maybe, two) that have done that in all this time.

I wonder if Blackberry servers will still run? I mean, if you were to destructive re-install your BB10 OS, you wouldn't be able to log back in with your BBID.
