I even uninstalled it and re installed. I open it, and within a few seconds it says unfortunately instagram has stopped working. Also tried resetting phone. I had this working for months with no problems. Any ideas?
I'm on OS 10.3.2.2639 on a Passport on TELUS.
The apk version is 6.23.0. Is there a later version of the apk? If so then that could be my problem... if that's the case could you send me the link to it?

It seems to affect old versions, as my latest version IG works fine. It's the older apk's that are not so fortunate. Seems instagram is going the way of snapchat and forcing you to use the latest versions. Lame

I updated through snap and everything works fine now. I suspect this is just the beginning and a sign of things to come.

OK so I guess I had to update the Google play store first cuz i kept getting the message telling me my device wasn't compatible with the app so I did that and when I went to instagram in the updated Google play store beside instagram it said update and now everything is working fine.
