I'm not sure if baamboo will break up or not while loading all your folders , but it pretty much has the features u r looking for.. the main drawback for me is that it lacks an equaliser, that's why I'm still using the default player. Other than that, baamboo is a good player with nice options and nice interface.

Sounds like more than a Neutron problem to me.
I use Neutron much of the day on my Passport SE. Its battery use is barely perceptible.

Same for me DT. Drains a little faster when I use my Bluetooth headphones. Neutron is the "killer app" on my Classic. I've blown people away with the sound quality it produces when plugged into a decent stereo.

    Easy now! ;_)

Since you already purchased Neutron I suggest you uninstall it - then reinstall and import your music files again. Also, take the time to normalize all your tracks after importing.

    whaddya mean "normalize"?

anyway, a solution presented itself - found a port of Blackplayer and am content with it.

Neutron is mostly for audiophiles anyway, i gather.
and i never plug my phone into an external source.

    guess it's a moot point.......

There might be some truth to that, paradive. I will say the Neutron audio quality is excellent when running my JBL Flip Bluetooth speaker. I'm glad you found something that works!
