Im reading posts months back that say that in no way is qnx( the all be and all end all of computing) the culprit for those terrible phones. so no way posters here are wrong. sliced bread has nothing on qnx
Well QNX is the core of the OS. So we can deduce that BBRY has done something to it to make it not stable.

Iphone home button, and volume buttons crap out pretty fast.

It can also do funny things when in a call.

I actually would prefer a home button. There have many times where I would have to swipe multiple times in order to wake up the phone. Also much easier to press a home button than swipe up, especially when you're multitasking.

Do we even have any idea if it was ever going to be stable for a phone? It seems they knew it wasnt going to be from the first delay .

First off I assume your boss is running on BES as it is a work phone. I have had contact issues with BES using outlook stored contacts and contacts locally. The Fix for me was this: I would unlink all accounts related to OFFICE and delete all of them except the outlook one. If there is any other info. from the other contacts be sure and save it. then let BES sync the contacts not sure how often your administrator does this. Restore all info into the OFFICE contact.

Does your screen protector (if you use one) go absolutely to the bottom of the screen. I have a screen protector that caused me to have to swipe more than once, until I removed it and moved it so there wasn't any interuption in the swipe motion. Made a big difference for me. I suspect that there are a lot of people that have the same problem and don't realize it can be corrected.

In my experience the Q10 has been solid. However, I think the design of the UI makes it much easier to mistakenly make a call than with an iPhone.

I love my Q10, and my wife loves hers, but hers has been randomly rebooting, and mine has issues with the screen becoming unresponsive, and shutting down altogether.

I won't switch to any other phone because the Q10 is the perfect phone for my needs, but I am tired of having the phone stop responding, or shutting off when I'm in the middle of getting stuff done.

Love how the phone feels premium, but I have bad luck and will be getting my phone repaired/replaced by my carrier this week.

Issues like this however would likely be enough to scare away those who are not BlackBerry diehards like myself. BlackBerry is on thin ice with consumers unfortunately.

No such problem here, runs smoother than Nexus 7 2013.
