Again I tried to do the Android OS, and I really did give it a shot this time. I even bought a Samsung Galaxy S7, a really nice phone, but it's sucking up data like a child on a... anyway, I'm back.

Hopefully with the 10.3.3 update BB10 (browser and some services) will live for 2 more years. But what are we going to do then? I enjoy the size of my Q10 - there is no alternative.

If you're only into calls, sms, email, BBM, and don't need apps, then yeah, BB10 should suffice for you. Not much "sucking up data" with those features anyway.

If you don't mind me asking, what carrier are you using? Metro pcs has unlimited data for $60, net10 does 5gig for 50, h2o does 8 gig for 36 with autopay, any of these seem enough even for android. I can say though, when it comes to background data use my moto g seemed to use a lot more then either my Nokia e6 or my q10, and I used all 3 on the same plan via net10

Welcome back Cal' yeah BB is like the chick that got away. You know you're a perfect fit however it takes tons of effort to make it work, and when it works it pure bliss.

You know you can do better but it feels so right, so you wait for the potential OS to get better.

What carrier does h2o use? Temped. I pay for $30 for tmo prepay for Unlimited 5GB at 4G and 200 minute talk time but h20 is unlimited talk maybe be worth the $6 once in a while.

looked at coverage maps... the fine print seems to indicate ATT..

I did notice that compared to the Galaxy S4 I had my BlackBerry Passport uses way way less data. Probably due to less data mining and permissions sending info back to the mothership.

And apps open in the background you didn't know about. First thing I do when I pick up my wife's S6 is close all the apps that have been open for days. She is very tidy around the house. Pig sty in her phone.
