Really handy for apps that come bundled with hardware
eg.
You buy a router, there's an app to remotely manage it.
You buy a security camera, you want the app to remotely check your property.

These are only kind of apps that cause me any griefs

Google Maps, because nothing does OCTranspo busses as well, including OC Transpo's website.

Other than that, Google Now if available. It was always nice know exactly when I'd need to leave to catch a bus to work or home.

Basically anything to make catching busses easier.

I think all of the stuff I would download would be things that I would normally do by another method and not really need on mu z10 such as syarbucks, normally use the card. Big Ten app, normally use my laptop or desktop for that etc. Banking app might be nice but text alerts and mobile site work well.

But I expect I would find something I liked that I didn't know I was missing.

Come to think of it, Opera mini would be great.
