Go look at other devices, if BlackBerry placed Android on current devices then they are no different than anyone else

Ill keep my Passport for as long as it is useful, then if there is no more OS10, ill move on to windows or iphone. Android is not an option at all for me.

If BlackBerry no longer supported BB10, I would be happy if they allowed installing Android. It would extend the life of the device, like how the HP Touchpad's life got extended with Cyanogenmod, unlike the PlayBook, which never got BB10 or an unlocked bootloader so that something like Cyanogenmod could get ported.

If BlackBerry replace BB10 with Android on every current device what would you do?

    1) Keep your current BB10 version at the time
    2) Upgrade to Android
    3) Leave BlackBerry devices
    4) Spontaneously combust.

    3) I'm with BlackBerry for the UX. I already started to work on my BB10 like UX on top of Mer or Ubuntu Touch. First lines written ;-). Or Jolla. But I hope my Passport will survive at least a few years...

Buy any other android device unless I need a hardware keyboard and install all the BlackBerry apps that are useful. Besides they probably won't get hub because is to tightly coupled with third party apps adding support for hub.

Your post made me think of a name for the new "fusion" devices - Blandroid. Because not running BlackBerry 10 on a BlackBerry device would just be bland. ;-)

That's if it's gonna happen by anyway

Or I just misunderstand? Well if u mean BlackBerry stop BBOS10 devices and produce only Android, then it depends on the device itself

[QUOTE=Alexandre Faustino;11937901]Now i'm seeing many topics about BB10 dies and derivatives, i'm concern as well because i feel BB10 still the best Mobile OS out there but the poor sales could change everything in the next year.]

Please stop the nonsense bb10 isn't going anywhere. If anything the android experience will hopefully bring people over to bb10 by far the most advanced mobile operating system. BB10 is here to stay its nonsense to think otherwise. JMHO

I would continue to do what I am doing: use my Q's with 10.2. For me and my needs, I see no compelling reason to move to a slider, especially one with an Android OS.

Unsubscribe from BBM Meetings and BBM Protected, shutdown my BES12 server, stop developing apps for BB10, and go back to Sony Xperia.

    2. Use BlackBerry's Android.

Don't really have any attachment to any OS since I am able to use all of them equally well and adapt.

I will go with the flow. So to speak.

Assuming existing Passports stay only on BlackBerry 10 I will also be using BlackBerry 10 on it.

I would be outraged! I tried Android and totally NOT impressed.

Should BlackBerry drop OS10, I would continue with my Passport SE, but would likely move to Windows based Hand set.

Clearly if BlackBerry drops dev on BB10, then programs would quickly become stale.

Android just is not for me.

You mean even worse then? The Facebook app is pretty "stale" as it is.
