Hope that if any sort of Android get installed with a new OS, that it will at least come as separate BAR files and that it would be possible to delete this entirely without being baked in to the system.
At least that would give us a way to get a clean BB system.

I will be keeping on use BB10. I never liked Android, for security reasons and continuing lags, power consumption.... For sure I will be checking how it would work the BlackBerry with Android, but I am not enthusiastic about Android.

I tried the S6 today, setting up my father's phone and I was lost in the OS. I did not like it one bit. I hope BlackBerry simplifies the working and makes it look good.

It's really not complicated at all. Any new OS is confusing. Ask anyone that tries BB10 for the first time.

Second day using and the more I use it the more disjointed it feels. Somehow I don't know the point of widgets and apps together. It's either apps or widgets...

Why should minimized apps be hidden? Grrrrrrrrrrr.... this is not the place to rant I guess

Wow, simple things seem to be confusing you...no real point in explaining it all then

I would wish for a dual boot or a simple way to return to android or bb10. Only then I could make a choice

Yes and no. I've always been a Nexus man since Nexus was out from HTC. The transition from Nexus 5 to Z30 was impressive to say the least.

Having said that, I went back to my Nexus 4, flashed cynangenmod, used it for a day, never again I'll go back.

The simplicity of BlackBerry OS 10, swipe gesture and the hub wins hands down. It literally took me so much steps just to add/modify a bloody email account.

App permission control! Let's hope they keep that too!

1st of all, current devices won't be upgradable to blandroid. Thats the trick.
So enjoy your devices with last 10.3.2.

Bar is much better than Apk. those who have already used android, they will definitely frustrated with slider as it is not going to support android fully. The power of android is root privilege which you will never get in slider.
Power of android is root privilege? that's actually a security hole. Blackberry knows how to build the system to help prevent someone getting root access.

No. BB10 is currently the best OS for my needs, which is 98% email, attachments/local and cloud file handling, and calendar appointments. The remaining 2% is a little CB, web surfing, Twitter and Facebook to stay caught up with news. BB10's seamless UI and multitasking are all I need. Yes, I have a bunch of apps that I've installed over the last couple of years, but I find myself using little more than the Hub, Calendar, Remember and a weather app.

That said, I would load up a BlackBerry android build if I had a spare phone, just because I'm a tech geek and believe in playing around with all operating systems.

BB10 has everything I want. I don't understand why so many expect constant OS upgrades. I could live with 10.3.2 indefinitely.

I have nexus and iPad tablets at my desk but I do 99% of my work on my laptop and Z10. Both iOS and Android are awkward and pointless for anything except watching video, IMO. The essential functions (multiple email accounts, calendars, tasks, contacts, and browser) are all clunky and disconnected. Then there is that awful home button, the ultimate time waster!
