When the Blackberry's design team revamped the icons on 10.2 and removed the shadows it was welcomed by most .

It appears they overlooked one icon. There is a faint shadow on the lock screen camera icon.

I suppose it just helps that little bit to see it, it could be at risk of blending into the background without it

They didn't forget it. It's purposely there. The shadow around the lock screen camera icon actually changed going from 10.2 to 10.3. Nevertheless, I would like it to be removed in a future update.

It's also there for app groups.

I'd like an option for icon shadows. I find them quite functional with certain backgrounds.
