I recently "deleted" an app I downloaded from Amazon's store because I wanted to be able to get the newest version from the Google Play Store. The app is somehow still on my phone and I can not uninstall through Amazon's app store because it keeps crashing when I try. Is there a way I can get the icon back or delete the app completely?

Reboot device after install, and then wait 10 minutes to allow it to settle.

    First off, welcome to CrackBerry!
Please update your profile to include device, carrier, and location. This makes it easier for others to help you.

If you had just downloaded the app from the Play store to start with, it probably would overwritten the original Amazon version you had/have.

But regardless, this is a little quirk of BB10 that occasionally pops up when deleting Android apps. First thing to try is a hard reset, which is like a "deeper" restart. It just reboots your phone; it doesn't erase anything else.

Hold down the top button of BB10 device and do not release it.
Ignore any onscreen options, countdowns, splashscreens, etc.
After the red LED turns on then back off (within 10-20 seconds probably), release the top key.

After that reboot, the deleted app should be, well, deleted! Please post back on your results.
