Hopefully this will help someone who was stuck like me

I have flipped and flopped between phones and have a me.com email address amongst others. Anyways for the life of me I could not get icloud email to work again on my Z30 or BlackBerry Priv. The thing that baffled me was that it did work a month ago. Anyway what I had done was inadvertently turned on two step verification on Apple icloud.

Just turned it off and kaboom email is working again.

    To turn it off

Step 1 - Google - Manage Apple ID
    step 2 log in
Step 3 under security click edit and then turn off two step verification and then setup security questions

    Kaboom now icloud email works

Hope this helps someone that was stuck like me

If you have two step verification on iCloud you don't have to turn it off. You can make app specific passwords at your Apple ID page (appleid.apple.com). Just create an app specific password for your BlackBerry device and use this to verify your iCloud email account. Works like a charm.

    Wow thank you for this.

My iCloud email is the main one I use, and it stopped working today.

I turned off Two Step Verification and now it works again.
