When I got my Z10, I was able to sync iCloud email, contacts, and calendar OTA via CardDav and CalDav. After updating to 10.1, I lost the ability to sync my iCloud calendar via CalDav. I know with the legacy OS, Apple blocked the calendar sync. Only iOS devices could sync up. Is the loss of calendar sync an issue with the 10.1 update or is Apple blocking the calendar sync again? Any iCloud users out there loose their calendar sync?

Maybe someone can explain it.

Won't make me use my iPhone, I have transfered all my calendar events into my old hot mail calendar that syncs perfectly.
Even receive email reminders automatically from outlook dot com of upcoming events. Don't miss icloud calender.

Most likely blocked by Apple... I would sync with your email as others have suggested and then remove icloud setup all together

Got fed up waiting for even acknowledgement from either Apple or Blackberry, converted calendar to google, scrapping iCloud account. Done with Apple services.

Fruux is cool. The guidelines to install are very clear. It syncs almost everything.
Although for multiple calendars and more than 2 devices you have to subscribe, 4 bucks a month or 40/year.

It is also officially recognized by BB:

This is exactly why you should be able to synch device to device as we did with BB Desktop Manager rather than relying on the cloud. It amazes me that we have to go to the internet to sync two devices in the same room. I do not use the cloud, nor do I want to. I am using PIM Backup and Restore to transfer my calendar to the desktop in the meantime.

Agreed. Both Calendar and Contact synced with iCloud until 10.1 came along. The KB article is simply acknowledging the problem and can't contains no inference that the problem is on Apple's side. Although there is no time frame for a fix, this can only be seen as a good thing.

Not necessary. Use Google Calendar as a background sync and your BlackBerry Calendar will appear on your iCal instantly, and viceversa.

ok, once more icloud caldav sync set-up:

First install leaked OS 10.1.0.4537 or higher!!!

0.System settings
1. Go to accounts
2. Add account
3. Advanced
4. Caldav
5. description: iCloud
6. username: youraccount@icloud.com
7. email address: same as 6.
8. password: your password for your icloud account
9. server address: p03-caldav.icloud.com
10.save

Now the p03-caldav server might not the one you need. If so, you will get a warning that Your login information for CalDAV server [p0X-caldav.icloud.com] has changed or is incorrect.
In that case, change the 3 in p03-caldav.icloud.com to whatever the X stands for in the warning.
