Very hard to differentiate the two with sleepy eyes and I missed yet another meeting today. Even if I could see, it's too easy to fat finger them.

Had the problem on my Q10 and now on my Passport.

    Any chance they'll do it?

I had the same problem today and almost missed my morning lecture because I was half awake to hit the right button.

I guess if more people reply to this thread it might indicate it is worthwhile to contact BlackBerry with the feedback.

Did you know that if you pressed any button, such as volume buttons, your phone would go into snooze..

    Cheers..

You may want to look at some of the alarm apps. Extreme Alarm ( android) has different ways to activate snooze.

Put your phone in Bedside Mode if you are going to use it as an overnight alarm. The entire screen becomes a snooze button and the only way to dismiss is in the alarm settings screen. You get the added benefit of a nice dark screen with amber clock that turns bright white background with black text when the alarm goes off. Sound AND light to wake you up!

Good point but I still think Blackberry Should separate the buttons or at least add a 'Dismiss, are you sure?' message.

This is good advice, but I also agree with the OP. Those 2 buttons should be better separated.

I agree on separating the buttons. And make you confirm the dismiss button. When I'm half asleep I've hit the wrong button before.

I Agree that they need to be separated. I say a GIANT snooze button and a slide gesture to access the dismiss button.

Pressing a volume side key also puts the phone into snooze. Works wonders if you don't want to open your eyes!

    This is so Dumb!

We have been complaining about it enough in the forums, and no one from Blackberry spotted it out and quickly redesign that small interface!!!!!!

Another vote here for separating the buttons. It's WAY to easy to hit the wrong one.

I think they just need to make slide button...just like when you are answering the phone.

Put color for the snooze, and another color for the dismiss.

Or make the entire screen snooze (like when you are in bedside mode), and you have to slide up (like when you wake up the screen) to dismiss.

Should be pretty simple, but hasn't implemented yet. I think it should be a built in function, rather than 3rd party app.

    Just my 2 cents.

I like the idea of a giant snooze button and a slide to dismiss. Its foolproof.

Kind of like a real alarm clock snooze button is usually huge.

I don't care for fumbling around for side buttons.

I think so, just create the big pop-up window where one side is 'dismiss' and the other side is 'snooze'. Think it is much more practical.

The best way to snooze is press any of the physical buttons. You only need to touch the screen buttons for "Dismiss".
