I Think OS 10.2 is more beautiful than 10.3, but 10.3 is more efficient and user friendly, I want to go back to 10.2 but i can't duo to features of 10.3. :'(

Absolutely agree. The 10.2.x looks more professional. Especially the keyboard. The new one looks too much kids style iOS like.

However, I can't wait to have the new OS in order to have the great features and the faster and more responsive OS.

Few days ago I tried to install latest available software from BlackBerry it's 10.2.1 and it looked so old.. I'm using the newest leak 10.3.1.1949 and it's awesome! I like everything on it, just still missing landscape mode on homescreen and dark hub..

No need to apologize for your second / third language, your doing quite well !

As for the beauty you see in 10.2, I think deep down you know 10.3 makes more sense as you've said its more efficient and user friendly.

The operating system needs to progress and remain competitive, a shift towards a more "flat" UI is one of these reasons. As more developers opt for flat UI's in their apps, it makes sense to ensue the rest of the OS is inline with this design trend.

I personally would take efficiency and features over beauty, but everyone is different

The text messages looked amazing on the 10.2 and on the 10.r3 they look like a bit more Norden and flattened out and while on the old version they had more depth which was nice, really miss that

Unfortunately that wouldn't be the case unless the 3d icons were actual 3D models being rendered in real time. In both 10.2 and 10.3 the icons are just static images.

I'd disagree because

- All major platforms are moving to the flatter design
- The dark background behind icons was not aesthetically pleasing
- The hub looks cleaner

You didn't mention which aspects of 10.2.1 do you prefer to 10.3; nonetheless, the new design is here to stay so even if it is something only the developer could love, we need to accept it : D
I'd prefer customisation choices on the app screen, like font colour change on a white wallpaper.

I like Lollipop's material design, btw (zo bretty)!

There had been a lot of discussions on CB when it first came out and I am sure more will follow when it is officially released!

I think the look should be uniform. For example, I had been running the Android Evernote and BlackBerry Evernote side-by-side in the past few days; more often than not, I'd click on the Android logo thinking it was the BlackBerry version. The BlackBerry one had a reflection and Android was flat like the Hub, camera, phone, browser, etc.

I haven't used a Lollipop running device, however I'm sure the apps would be smoother as currently the direct downloads from the Playstore work really well!

Are these images broken? I can"t view them.

I've had an issue lately where images in my posts are not showing for me when I view the thread after posting, but not all the time. There's just a black space instead. Even your post with my quote only shows the bottom picture but not the top. This is very strange. I've only had this problem since posting these pictures in particular, done it heaps of times before though with no such issue.

Could it be a bug in the CB app itself? Or maybe even 10.3.1?

I will repost the images again here and folks will have to tell me if they are visible or not.

As a side note I have been having an irritating issue where when I attach a picture, the link comes up UNDER my signature (not where I left my cursor) meaning I have to cut and paste it higher up where I want it every time. Any one else getting this? It's really annoying.

the look of 10.2 and prior has this "dated" feeling to it. 10.3 has a much more contemporary look.

So I guess it depends on what you prefer. I prefer contemporary. Some people like antics and prefer something more conservative

I like the old one better too, had to change all my backgrounds back to black! A few things have been moved around/changed! Should have left it the same and just added on to it..not change anything. OS 10.2 was koolaid that needed a little more sugar..now it koolaid with a new flavor and too much dang sugar!
