So im using Q10 for about a week now, side-loaded android apps, updated OS and everything else, still not satisfied. I might use this until iOS 7 comes, probably will just trade this in. I didn't mean to offend BB Lovers, im just sharing my experience.

Lack of apps, quality, costly apps, etc. I love the idea of the keypads but then I think iOS is faster in performance.

So many issues. I did not like the idea of tweaking and making some apps fit for BB10 ending up not working, hanging, deleting, re-installing. I want it plain and simple.

It's a huge step from one to the other. You most likely would have had more luck with a Z.

Did you do any research at all? You came from an iphone5 and your complaint is lack of apps on your q10.

I used to be a BB user, but when i5 came out, I switched, thinking Q10 is better, I again switched. The apps I want are not in Q10. Not even the official viber app, see how disappointing. These are the apps I ONLY maintain. Since these are available in BB OS7, I thought it will be ofcourse available in Q10 being this is more expensive and latest:
- Viber
- Grindr
- Instagram (Official)
- Other apps, but not so important apps.

I've sideloaded viber, doesnt work; I've sideloaded instagram, doesnt work; created BAR file of viber, doesnt work.

Man U have to give BlackBerry a break they jumped a big step from OS7 to OS10


And they aren't just standing there and let us get bored from the OS10 they are moving too fast to let us enjoy with the new features they give in each update


And u don't have to expect a 100% working OS cuz it's a big step for them and now the BlackBerry 10 is Competeing with other phones


Just give BlackBerry a break so they can satisfied every one

There is a difference between stating which apps, and a generic "lack of apps"

It almost sounds like you miss going to the Apple App Store and seeing 300 variants of twitter. Rather than specifically missing a particular set of apps.

The reason why I mention this, is because, If you say:
"I miss my car starter app made by so-and-so" there is a chance that "so-and-so" might come across it, and make some plans to build you the blackberry app you so desire.

But if you say, "lack of apps" than there is a chance that no one here cares. :P

Rame, yeah it is a big jump from OS 5,6,7, what I was trying to say is that iOS is way better, and that is my opinion. They are better in so many ways. But again, I am using blackberry now so I have no choice but to embrace this.

If u have a debug toke they will work

I'm already using instagram 4.1.2 on my Q10

I didn't try the others cuz I don't need them

Why do people keep starting threads and making complaints about things they had full control of?
If those apps were critical to you, then you should have done your research first and stuck with your iPhone until they became available for bb10.
My apologies for sounding so harsh everyone but I've seen so many of these threads. Time to take some of the responsibility for your decision making people.

How dare you critcise the Q10 on crackberry. You'll get torn apart pretty soon.
To everyone else: The Q10 is the best, sideload all apps, awesome keyboard. Who cares about native when you can sideload with android runtime. Who cares about apps when you have a keyboard. *Drinks more kool aid.
