OS 10.1 is looking good!
I backed up my stuff and did it today.

Slow this Summer, I didn't update from June 20th till today.

It could have been due to new-user fear.

I found the backup and installation process to be a bit un-userfriendly.

It surprises me that BB can't copy the big competitor.
One way to improve userfriendliness is to give it to an outside agency
and let them improve it. Costs less too.

It MAY cost less you mean. It SURELY will involve opening up their security to a third party.

Anyway, the newest version of BB Link (1.2?) is said to make backups much faster (and somewhat more friendly) that Link 1.1.

Also, BB10.2 should make things smoother once it's fully deployed (although you can try a leak now!).

As for third party alternatives, give Sachesi a try!

I don't use Link altogether. All my stuff is in the cloud since my 8520. BB has been doing a fine job sync'ing it since OS5.

Not to outsource that function.

i am new to bb 10, i hav q10, i took bb protect backup frm 9900 and stored in q10 but now i hav to upgrade to os 10.2 frm os 10.1... plz tell me some ways to get upgrade to os 10.2. thnx
