    I was running into problems like slow app loading android runtime crashing etc.I tired a a security wipe but it gets stuck at 96-97% even after battery pulls.
    My phone is not factory unlocked(can't load BBM-Can't connect to BB services).This is how i figured that it isn't.
    I am considering reloading the software via link or autoloader but i don't want the phone to get locked again.
    What option do i have now?

    Reloading seems like my only option now.I will try it.Hope you are correct.Will reply with the outcome later

    Reloading the OS has nothing to do with carrier locking/unloching.
