I was very excited when I got the notification, but it seems it was only an app. It's Backup Plus Contacts. I can't tell if there's anything else new. It still says I'm on 10.1.0.2039. Does anyone know anything about this new app or update?

Not sure about the app, but the OS is the same old OS that's been on since late July.

It backs up your contacts to Verizon's servers/cloud. I tried it when the Z10 was first released on Verizon but decided I didn't trust it's security or to work right. Now I just sync my contacts to Outlook on my computer using BB Link, but BB Link didn't have the capability to sync with Oulook back then. I don't know if they've upgraded or improved the app since then.

I don't want my contacts in their cloud. BBLink handles it just fine.

I think I'm just going to trash the app. The update said OS update so this has let the wind out of my sails. Come on Verizon I thought it was 10.2 time.
