This has been discussed many many times in the forums.
Don't be lazy if you want so bad.

1. Get chrome extention of "apk grabber" so you can grab apk(s) at Google play
2.get android device id from any "later android device" (from 4.0 ics just to be safe)... dont have one? ask a friend.
goole the rest of the faq and instructions how to use it

3. Install debug token.. google it. (use saches tool {beta})

Dont have token? Request it from blackberry.

4. Convert apk you've just grabbed from Google play to bar using the tools provided by blackberry with your debug token. (dont interrupt any operations or processes)

5. Get the fresh finished product of your conversion. Yes, the bar file of your desired app.

6. Sideload it to your phone. Yes, in dev mode.

Works with 4G/LTE.
Sometimes crashes at start (but better than the crash count of the preview version in bbworld) just relaunch the app and it will work again. Doesn't crash during calls/video calls after the first crash.

As has been said repeatedly, this is for the Q10, not the Z10. The Z10 doesn't have the same problems with skype as Q10's do. This includes skype 4.0 which I have had problems with.

Give it a shot with debug token. I don't know if this one is confirmed.

I believe it worked but i'm not 100% sure if it was skype 4.0 or previous version. I'll test it out later today and get back to you.

I can confirm that Skype 4.0 on OS 10.2 doesn't work especially with video calls. However after I've sideloaded Skype 3.2.0.6673, video calls work perfectly!

just to add to the OP good find and thanks for adding this has truly helped me to get skype working on bb10.2 for q10.

You basically have to install two skype versions.

1. After clean un-install of any skype version you have, install via bbworld on your device, the skype thats available.

2. this wont work and will always come up with "unfortunately skype has failed". Just ignore and close this.

3. Download another version of skype (3.2.0.6673) from here: http://69.162.109.42/Apk2Bar/bar/com...3.50469393.bar

4. This is a .bar file which you will need to load using the instructions found here: Load Android Apps on Playbook and BB10

5. Enjoy, and thanks to ciprianmuresan for this heads up on how to get it to work.

Yes it works for me,try to do hard reset press volume up n down untill reboot,i do that when ii cant sign in via mobile cellular

using the wrong skype version than, because I can sideload it to my Q without the need of the app world one and it works fine

Hi Kris, what bar file for Skype are you using for your Q? I've downloaded just about all of them from apk2bar and GoodeReader but can't get any of them to work with the new leak/runtime. I know there are threads everywhere on this and instagram (another I can't get to work) but after 4 hours of downloading/loading/sideloading, etc (LOL) any help is sooooo appreciated and if it doesn't come from one of you guys/gals on the team, I don't do it! Thanks!
