Don't know but I find a hard reboot usually fixes the issue you are having.

I did the hard reboot the day I got the phone. Not trying to do another, but it is what it is.

A hard reboot is just pressing the volumes keys till the device reboots, much like a power button reset on the computer. It is not the secure wipe we hear a lot of.
You are looking at it over the course of two days.
My own phone shows 40% over two days.
Look at the average, and that gives you a better idea. Just looking at your phone bumps the system usage up at that moment. Browsing websites, looking at the CB app, typing something - that all uses the "system".

Why sync every 30 minutes? You're already getting emails pushed.
I believe that is the sync time for messages in other folders, such as Drafts and Sent.

It's a million dollars question. Even BlackBerry can't give you the answer. People ask the same question in every single forum on CB. One day System process is quiet with few %, on the next day goes crazy with 50% and drains your battery in few hours. It's a BlackBerry thing, I guess.
Sure but is there a need to sync them every 30 minutes? I see no need but other people have different uses.
