I ended a chat(text) in the hub and that contacts texts will no longer appear in the hub. I get no notifications for them either.

The only way I've been able to see a message from this contact now is if I compose a new message to her, then her texts appear.

I've tried the following with no luck after some research on other forums:

1) restart phone and restart hub
2) change hub setting from conversation to single messages and vice versa
3) deleted Facebook app and pulled battery
4) Tried giving the chat a name

Getting really frustrated here, I don't want to have to reinstall as my last backup was months ago. Any help would be much appreciated.

Has this friend sent you a new message? I did the same thing, inadvertently, and as soon as I received a message from that person, all the previous messages were back.

Hey, yes she has been. We've been going back and fourth trying to get it working.

Delete all texts, group chats and social chats with the contact.

Delete contact and all traces of them.

Turn off phone.

Pull Sim card.

Turn on phone.

Turn it back off.

Replace Sim card.

Turn phone on and send a text to the contacts number.

It should appear in the hub after 5 min or so.

Try doing a hard reset
Pull out the Sim card
And dump that worthless BB10 phone in the toilet.. LOL just kidding!


..Just try doing the hard reset it worked for me a while back..
