I've been using my Z10 now for about 3 months almost without incident until Friday of last week. I received a notification that the was an update to be run so I checked. It turned out to be exactly the same version of the OS that I was already running but in decided to run it anyway (.85) just in case. Since then my Hub has been quite unstable and I can't maintain notifications, things like BBM or SMS keep switching themselves off and I have to reset them multiple times a day. The Hub can even lose its settings as soon as I exit the settings box. This morning BBM and SMS had defaulted to "Off" again so I reset them, went back into check and only were they off again but phone notifications were now also disabled. It's frustrating to say the least. I've also noticed my GPS will now randomly activate and stay on for 4 or 5 hours with no ability to shut it off. Even a reboot, had or soft, doesn't help.

Anyone know how these issues can be fixed? Like I saiid up until now my Z10 has run almost perfectly and I would hate something as annoying as these issues to ruin the experience.

I know you've restarted the device, but have you tried restarting the Hub (five swipes from the top right corner towards the middle)?

I'm not sure if that would help, but...

Thanks for the advice but it didn't work. I made sure all profiles were switched to "On" beforehand and after I rebooted the Hub both Twitter and Calls were defaulted to off. Another issue I just came across is that my notification profiles are doing the same thing! Both my ringer and vibrate were set to "Off" when I checked just now, they were both on last night when I went to bed. This is frustrating, I'm having to check my phone every few minutes to make sure it's working properly!

I'm afraid the best advice I can do is to factory reset/restore. It sounds like something in the settings database for the Hub has gone wonky, and unfortunately those issues rarely fix themselves

I was trying to avoid that but I guess it's the only option I have. Thanks for the advice.

    Hi there

It seems to be the "Ghost in the Hub Settings" issue

here you can read more: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...ttings-802722/

there seems to be a workaround for q 10: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...6/#post8477172

Im not sure if there is already a work around for z10 available...

sorry that I have no solution.
