Hello, new BlackBerry, Q10, user here and I have a few questions.
Does android apps from internet slow down/drain battery faster than native apps? Also do I get notifications on lock screen and in hub from those android apps? (mainly want android fb messenger)
    Thanks in advance

Yes to the slow down and drain duo or the functional question?

Yes, it is bad on Q10. I have stopped using any Android apps including ported ones even.

Android apps will generally use more resources than native apps as they work through a runtime. Notifications should work if an app isn't using Google services for push notifications but even then it may not be 100% reliable.

Adding a gmail is the only one that actually brings you to a proper account page. Actually Evernote does as well Syncs your notes in remember app and sets them offline.
