Did you read the two posts were I've said it doesn't work perfectly for me? Audio but no video on two different 10.3.1 leaks.

You can download the latest version of the mobile flash 11 apk from Adobe. Install it along with the Firefox browser. That works too - just a heavier solution.

Latest Firefox from Google Play seems to just hang then crash.

I suspect you have other problems going on.

    Latest firefox works perfectly.

The autoload of 10.3.1.938 was fresh as of a couple of nights ago. I might wipe and start again from scratch.

That's ok, the weird thing is the BBC Media Player seems to be fully working for others but not on my Z10.

It is available on 10.3.0. It is supposed to available on 10.3.1 as well.

It is not found in the leaked versions of 10.3.1 to date. No reason yet to get your knickers in a twist.

    Z30STA100-5/10.3.1.938
Er. I was saying that the original poster was exactly right to point out that it being present on 10.3 was precisely why it would be there.

Perhaps untwist your own knickers and see you're preaching to the converted?

Try Photon Browser actually I use this on on my Nexus 10 because didn't have flash. I tried myself on my Z30 and works fine you have to go through the settings, activate Flash and put it on Chrome or Firefox mode and this is it.
What I don't know if it is going to work with 10.3 etc.

The Media Player certainly used to struggle on the Android runtime of pre 10.3 builds, as I remember trying it myself back then but getting various problems. Actually it was a pleasant surprise when I found it worked last night.

You've probably discussed this already (don't have time to read the whole thread, sorry) but it could be a symptom of an immature build of the runtime used in early 10.3.1 leaks.

Unfortunately I can't get 10.3.1 on my Passport, otherwise I'd load it up and compare notes.

On 10.3.1 whenever I turn on Flash in the Photon Browser the iPlayer website detects it as accessing from outside the UK and says no.

Can't seem to get Firefox to work with the mobile Flash .apk installed. When I got to the iPlayer site it never seems to invoke it, just says that Flash isn't installed.

Do you have to do some tinkering to get Firefox to know that Flash is available in the Android runtime?

Problem is that not even flash sites will support mobile flash v11 much longer. They are up to v15 on desktops, and more and more sites are requiring you to update your flash - and of course we can't.

Maybe I'm way off on this because I'm not in anyway trying to view BBC nor I am a pro at this but I am on a 10.3.1 leak and when I open some videos on the browser I get the message saying that flash is no longer supported on my device ,then I see another message asking if I wanted to view in HTML5 instead? I choose that and everything went rather smoothly.

Going forward we have to hope that media providers get the message that Flash is no good for mobile as most devices can't play it anymore and switch to HTML5 instead.

But we do know that Adobe Air is being removed from the Operating System because it wasn't used much and is costing BlackBerry money
Maybe the two go hand in had
No Adobe Air.... no Adobe Flash

As I mentioned on another thread, Flash has been confirmed as joining Air in the dustbin. Revealed by BlackBerry employees who know. (sorry can't say who).

Honestly v11 is pretty much dead in the water anyway - if not right now, very soon.
