    you cannot.
other question - WHY would you want to do that?
You can put it in the same "sh!t" folder, together with Help, Tutorials, Setup, and other never used icons... and forget.

use sachesi or the google chrome browser method. although having a safe store built in is good and your BB will scan the apps anyways so I dont see the big deal. First people were crying about a lack of apps and stores, now they're crying about too many. make up your frickin minds will ya

you cannot purchase apps via snap. you can via android app store
Android app store apps are the ones which does not require google play services
you get free apps on daily basis.
it does not cost a thing to have another app.

Couldn't you remove the bar file from the app bundle before loading with Sachesi?

You can try the method that also removes system files, the one that uses chrome. Haven't tried removing amazon app but I use that method to remove unnecessary files like languages, retaildemo, tutorial app.etc.

No, you have downloaded apps that you have previously purchased. You can't purchase apps in Snap.

    Actually, you can...

Log in via website (from computer) to google play store
    purchase app
    navigate snap to "your apps"
    download.

I think that's how it works

I too would like to uninstall Amazon (because it has assumed all sorts of permissions I don't want it to have, and I can't turn them off). I do not seem able to update it. I cannot tell from this thread whether there is a simple procedure I can follow to uninstall it. (There was a link posted allegedly on this issue, but it was another Amazon app. The app I'm trying to get rid of is just called Amazon). I have a Classic with the most up to date OS.

Settings -> security and privacy -> parental controls -> turn on prental controls -> go to bottom of the list and turn off amazon apps. The Amazon related apps are removed from the screen. But do not turn off Parental Controls.
