    So my contacts app is drunk. From what I've read, the issue is that most of my contacts are sync'ed with Gmail.
    So now if I try and delete the contacts account, it tells me that it will remove all the contacts that have been sync'ed.
    What would be the best way to remove the sync but to retain all my contacts?

    Get the app from BBW max contact manager and run the back up contacts save to sd card then delete your gmail and then restore the contacts back with the app.
