They didn't really say much did they? Just a canned response that "hey it's not our fault".

Most CrackBerry readers know that BlackBerry basically haven't made it easy for developers... And they know that BB10 isn't growing, that in fact the userbase is shrinking.... when it comes down to it, you can't blame WhatsApp or FaceBook.

If BlackBerry was dedicated.... there would be a new RUNTIME.

I welcome any transparency from them. And ultimately BlackBerry is in no position to dictate terms to Facebook, so I can understand the "canned" response.

Easier, I suppose, than updating the SDK. Or investing in Qt5 or new API levels in the Android runtime.

Maybe next we'll see Chen in Zuckerberg's driveway with a boombox?

Better hurry up and tweet using that hashtag ... you might not have long as BB10 Twitter is likely the next to disappear!

"Our commitment to BlackBerry 10 and to developers has not changed..."

That's actually the problem that BlackBerry didn't realise. They have to change their so-called 'commitment' to a better one... the one that is more effective and positive result-oriented commitment...

I think many here, and maybe even some IT managers ... Would see the removal of many of these social apps as an improvement.

Might as well get rid of the runtime too.

Great Plan! BB should do it.

After all, nobody uses Android Apps on their BB10 phone, I read it here on the CB forums nearly every day.
