Hi,
This new os is not friendly to less clicks.. I wanted to search and I now have to click one more click on "type here to search" to not do a voice search...
Whats wrong with you BlackBerry?! It was very easy to search for contacts or Google search.. but now we must go through this multiple stages in search that is not efficient like you were in the past...
Thinking of moving back to 10.2.1...

Wow, you're soooo right. That one extra tap is so burdensome. You'll never get that extra half-second of your life back.

I believe if you turn off assistant, you will get it to work like 10.2.1.

When we press "search" we expect one of the two to happen :
1. Keyboard pops and ready to click your search
2. Voice ready to take your voice command
None of the two happen since now it requires an additional step.. a useless one since we already had a simple way to search and now it's kinda lost its magic.. even iPhone understand that... swipe down pops keyboard for search and long press home button is voice search...
BlackBerry could have gotten the same ease of use... now it's clumsy...

Type to search was brilliant.
Wish they gave us an option to toggle... :-)

And when you don't need Search, it just pops up. Like in Phone app when you switch to Contacts tab. Now Search blocks 1/2 of the screen, even if the contact you're looking for is just at the bottom of the screen. I have no idea who decided that we need to search our contacts all the time.
Does anyone have access to the beta zone that can post this feedback?
