    On my bold 9900, in my bbm chats I could simply begin typing a persons name and it would filter all my active chats. Now if I want to resume a chat I was having with someone I either need to scroll to find the chat or go to my contacts then search in there for the persons names, then click their picture to be taken to the chat we were having.

    Am I missing something or are these the only 2 ways to resume a chat? Both are incredibly inefficient compared to the old way.

    Neither of these alternatives are as effective as the old way, hope bbry adds this feature to bbm... thx for the replies guys

    Oh contarire...the old way you have to actually open BBM app. with the general search you do it directly from the home screen

    I suppose it depends where you are when you desire to bbm someone, if you're already in bbm then its faster to do it from within the bbm app (as opposed to swiping up to get to the home screen, then searching).

    If you're in the BBM chat screen just tap the "new chat" icon at top right and type the name
