    There's no Android core OS on the device, it's just an emulated runtime. There's nothing to root and can't be done anyway.

    ^^This.

    People seem to forget there's a difference between a full bootable Android OS (which is where the rooting happens) and the runtime we get that runs inside of a totally different OS.
