    You cannot remove it. Only the previous owner - the one who knows the password - can reset it.

    You can only proceed after you remember your BBID.

    I removed it on my Passport when I bought it used. The guy didn't know the password. It was running 10.3.2 and I used an autoloarder to go back to 10.3.1 and then setup and upgrade via Ota. I helped someone on the BlackBerry subreddit do this last month and he confirmed it still works.
