Despite several things that don't work and others that have stopped working, I am still running on 10.3.0.700 with no plans of going back. Those "things that don't work" are annoying enough that I've thought several times about going back, but I find that I just can't. Other things, it turns out, work rather well now, such as Bluetooth LE (which I use for my Fitbit) as well as the apps that use the vastly improved Android runtime. Some of those apps have native counterparts but they are often out of date or the Android port on BlackBerry World is also broken or abandoned. I mentioned Fitbit, but some of those apps are things I need for work. The only way forward is to use SNAP or the Amazon store.

Those issues are actually good reasons for running a leaked OS.

And so I'm curious. Who else runs a slightly broken leaked OS (so to speak) simply because they can't go back or going back isn't feasible?

I don't think I will. If only cause I can't stand those ugly shadow boxes.

I have to reboot once a week or so because of the memory (which messes with the camera) but other than that, it's been pretty good.

I'd also like to know what you can do on 10.3 that 10.2.1 cant handle?

The OS hasn't been terrible, but I have the same issue as @Hamsterwheel, the ugly shadow box with the camera thingy she's talking about. My biggest issue is that I have the Q10 and my instant key press / search, doesn't work.

I have thought several times about going back and then remembered I won't have a clean home screen and I would have to go back to the old way of deleting messages in the Hub. It is the small things I would miss, even though I hate the battery life on 10.3!

Me me me. 10.3.0296 here running the monster hybrid. One small thing I know I'd miss is the speed triage in the hub. It's just too easy to delete emails. Too easy.

Another one is wallpaper versatility

A third is well those damn ugly boxes

Android runtime is much better and notifications work better

There are others I simply can't think of right now.

Went back to 10.2 because my hot spot stopped working. OS said I had to add it to my plan. After I went back it still was not working so I had to call my carrier and they had to escalate a ticket to the engineers and after a day they got it working. It probably was not the OS version so I'm tempted to go back to 10.3.

I was happy with 10.3.0.296 but started to have more and more issues with reboots when taking the Z10 out of its belt pouch or just picking it up. At first I thought I had a loose battery issue but having been back on Z10STL100-4/10.2.1.3253 for a few days now the reboots have gone.

Wasn't pleased to find that I couldn't restore my password keeper or remember data back to 10.2.1 though.

I tried the 10.3.0.700 and it was nice. I just went back to the latest 10.2.1. I liked the 10.3, but I honestly like 10.2.1 better. I did like the 10.3 remember app better, but overall I honestly did not like the flat gui of if the 10.3. Idk if it is just that I have gotten used to 10.2.1, but to me it was more of what I wanted and more appealing. I like the messaging aspect of 10.2.1 better than 10.3, and I'm not a fan of the flat icons. To me they are just cheesy and boring. I do love the android run time in 10.3. In the 10.3, I did love the endless folders, but also for being on a q10, the icons were a tad small. Overall, imo, I love the 10.3, but I am glad I went back to 10.2.1 (minus the android runtime).

Please enlight me guys, cause i ran 10.3 for 2 months and finally decided to go back to 10.2.1 and seriously it couldn't be happier! All 10.3 leaks are incomplete and i dont get it when people start threads like this..

So please tell me, are there some amazing features that i missed?

I don't think you can be enlightened, as you said " 2 months and finally decided to go back to 10.2.1 and seriously it couldn't be happier!" we all have different taste for some of us 10.3, some like 10.2.1 others like 10.2.2, me I like cutting edge tech. started using 10.3 from 0.148, I am currently on 0.700, I am never going backwards, I am watching this 10.3 unfold on my Z10 leak after leak even after the official 10.3 or 10.3.1 dropped for my Z10 I will be on the next leak as soon as it drops.

I went back to 10.2.1 and waiting for much more stable leak.

Everything was ok

Except battery
Swiping sucked on keyboard for consecutive swipes
Blank hone screen without possibility to turn it off was useless.

All in all - I am back in 10.2.1 and waiting foe 1*** leak

WhatsApp beta all of the sudden would no longer run coz "you are running an unofficial os" (or something similar)
The 64gb microcode issue
BlackBerry world update not working for the. 296

Miss it because:
Indeed the email "triade" thingy allowing for multiple deletion much faster
Android effing runtime
I could not care less about the grey boxes though.

Since rolling back, there is a couple things I prefer in 10.2x

Active screens. The new sorting is non-intuitive. In 10.3 you are required to remember where the app was located in the active screens. Pre10.3, switching between apps requires no thought process. I'd like 10.3 to include an option for "active screen behavior"

The scroll bar in the pictures app is clunky, hopefully just because it's an unfinished change.

The keyboard. I don't know what it is about the appearance, but I'd like the option to choose whether the keyboard is flat or not.

The phone dialer is white... wth? I like it black, I'd prefer more black (options)in the os, not less.

And I don't like the new 10.3 headers.. I'm talking about.... uh. if you go to the hub, what the date looks like, that's what they made expandable headers look like.
It used to be, in order to expand menus by clicking a little triangle in the bottom corner (like in snap) but if you look in app world now (the most recent version) look at the header for staff picks or trending apps and games. The "more" button is what I'm talking about, I don't like it.

i ran .296 for about a month which was a perfect daily driver, now running .700 with a mix of bars, BBM voice works, calls work, 3rd party alarm, perfect daily driver for me runs great. would never go back to 10.2.1 now!

Whenever I start an android port, I get a blue line at the bottom, seemingly loading the app, and after a while it just closes. Running 10.2.1.2977
