I use mine to watch video on the treadmill tv's at L.A. Fitness. Also took advantage of the $.99 movie deals when they hit so I have a 45 movies I'll cycle through on occasion on the big screen at home.

Very frequently. I'm at a loss as to why they aren't including HDMI with the Passport and Classic ?.

Most likely posted via CB10 from my amazing Z30, but may have been posted from my awesome PlayBook.
It is included. In one port. It does it all.

Unfortunately I've used once or twice...in the beggining I was thinking it's a benefit, but now when I'm looking back, after 1,5 years of Z10 and one month of Z30, I understand that it is not so necessary...

I used the HDMI out from time to time. I also use DLNA since I have a SmartTV and a PS3. I have to admit some videos (odd formats or encoding) will not work properly over DLNA at which point I use HDMI and I am as happy as a bug in a rug.

I connect my Q10 to my TV with a micro-HDMI adaptor, log into US Netflix over my US VPN loaded onto my phone & watch good tv for cheap (over my home wifi, of course). Doesn't even register on my phone data quota. It's easier than connecting my Apple laptop to my tv to do pretty much the same thing & fewer buffering problems.

Use it often and love it. Record family get togethers or some life events etc and always enjoy watching them back. Also, using the Cache tube app, I'll often cash stuff I'm interested in then play them back on TV later in the evening.

I've used mine to watch movies on hotel TV's when travelling. Then I decided to buy a small wifi receiver so now I can just stream wirelessly to hotel TV's. But the HDMI worked well!
I do the exact same thing while travelling.

What type of wifi receiver you buy?

Apparently when you setup your device and it asks if you'd send data to BlackBerry this is one of the things they collect data on, if the hdmi port has been used and I'm told it is used by a very small percentage of devices they collect data from.

I found that surprising at first and thought it must be because most people using the feature have opted out of data collection. Since then I've asked every bb10 owner I know and anecdotes supported the BlackBerry data collection.

I think it's an awesome feature, woefully underused. There are probably lots more of those, like remember, glympse, hub pinch ect..

HDMI. One of the best feature of BB10. Especially how easy it is on BlackBerry 10.. no need for extra adapters or some things need to be the same brand? (apple) so it could work.. I use the HDMI most of the time for Movies, a little bit of gaming and a few times for Presentation. School Presentation. Talk about Advertising, LOL.
