Use it for Netflix and movies pretty much every day. I even bought a Z10 as a spare/media player. Love how you can stream from your computer.

I put a lot of my presentation at work on my Playbook or my Z30, so I often travel without my PC for training purposes.

Almost every other day. That's how I watch Netflix on my TV.

I use the android Netflix app. No need of computer connections: just plug the TV to the phone via hdmi and viola, you have Netflix on your TV

You set it up through BlackBerry Link under the media streaming options. You need to log into link with your BlackBerry id then tell it which folders on your computer you want to share. After you do that you can stream over wifi. Make sure you turn BlackBerry Link on in your phones settings.

I'm using it right now to read CrackBerry on a 40" screen. It's far from useless.

A couple of times, but only because I have a 1987 relic of a television. Old reliable, so don't have the heart to toss her out before she dies.

It's a nice feature of the BB10 phones, although I note it's missing on the Passport leaked photos.

I used to use HDMI a whole lot until I started using my Xbox to wirelessly stream movies, pics or music to the TV from my Q10 and the handy 64GB sd card. Works like a charm.

I use it, mostly for watching sports since I don't have cable and my cell phone provider offers a pretty decent tv package for $5/month.

Ya I use mine several times a week. Download torrents to my phone directly and watch on big screen. Saves me having to transfer from my computer to my phone, which is slow when transferring a 1 Gb movie.

Definitely use it on a weekly basis if not more. Since I got my Z30 I also bought a dongle for my TV so I can use miracast. Both are great features.

I usually hook up my device to the charger as well when I'm playing a movie over hdmi.
Surprised they went with the slimport instead of 2 different ports as the other phones.

I've used mine to watch movies on hotel TV's when travelling. Then I decided to buy a small wifi receiver so now I can just stream wirelessly to hotel TV's. But the HDMI worked well!

I use hdmi mostly to quickly view pictures, videos, and YouTube. Occasionally, I use it to browse websites using a blue tooth mouse and keyboard.
