Installing the blitz package for latest 1154. Been stuck at this one step for at least 30 minutes. Is that still within the "I know it may look frozen, but just leave it alone" length of time or do I need to do something to either push this to complete or am I at risk of having a paperweight with a keyboard?

How long is too long to install Blitz with Sachesi?-capture.jpg

.1154 took about 1 hour for me that was from my laptop with an i3 with a ssd.
Give it some time it should be good.
My first sachesi update took about 1h 45mins.

The processing power of the laptop has almost zero impact on a sachesi install. The only thing happening here is that the bar files are sent via USB and all the work is done on the phone. And yes, a full install would take roughly 70-100mins.

Unlock your phone and see if there's a status bar with the installing screen & a percentage number. If not, unplug and start the install from the beginning.

If the status bar with percentage IS on the device, then leave the phone as such for another 60mins or so. It'll get done.

There was not a status bar or anything else to indicate anything was happening, so I unplugged and started over, just completed in about 15 minutes. Still waiting for reboot, looks like it's just about done. Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I was just extrapolating to conclusions there.
    I've got two questions then.
Would it be faster using usb3.0 vs 2.0?
And does an ssd affect sachesi since hdds and ssds have different reading speeds?

It's normal to be anything up to 2hrs. I have an i3 myself with an SSD but it's down to the connection itself and of course the phone. My Z10 is only a micro USB 2.0 so a USB 3.0 port makes no difference here.
If you can also imagine that the bar files are probably transferring over USB at a rate of between 2 - 5MB/s maximum even though the theoretical speed of USB 2.0 is in excess of 400Mbps, therefore around 1hr 30mins to 2hrs is about right.

After I restarted it from scratch, it only took 30 minutes including reboot. Possibly because I was coming from 1151 so it only had to install 43 files.

By the way. I think sachesi shows only a progress bar of 0% on the progress bar, but the alert on the screen says to ignore it, so don't panic if there is no progress on the progress bar. Panic if there is no progress bar. Get it?

Even then don't panic. Unplug USB, restart Sachesi and just redo the Blitz process. I experienced this quite a few times already, and this doesn't lead to trouble!

If you click your mouse on the progress window on you computer, it shows the progress on the phone...which is different. I discovered that on my last leak install.

That happened to me once - Sachise was stuck on a file, but the phone no longer had that "software upgrade in progress" box and was back to the main phone app screen and functioning as normal.

I did as suggested above - unplugged the phone, canceled and exited Sachesi and restarted the whole process. Worked the second time.

One full install took almost 2 hours on my home PC, but the last few were much shorter because 1151 only needed to install about half the files that were newer, and 1154 had only about 45 newer files to install and took maybe 20 minutes, if that.
