How to reduce or maintain memory usage ? I'm stunned by the fact that some here can maintain their memory usage around 350 400 mb while some users like me can't, after six or seven days my memory usage is around 700 or 800mb, with the device slowing down massively, back cover very hot each time I use it etc..

About once per month usually related to some Android issue, like apps not opening or closing properly.

10.2.1.32xx kept rebooting itself every day or 2.

On 10.3.0.700 and having no issues with it. I've rebooted maybe twice? since installing the SDK - and not having a "ME" (memory eater) problem with it.

I also reboot my Z30 on 296 about every three to four days. The ram starts at 1200 and drops like a stone. It settles to around 5oo and slowly drops to under 300 and then the phone goes wacky. So I reboot. In fact, if I am planning on using the camera, I reboot BEFORE i start shooting. That way there are no issues!

Yeah same here. The camera is the biggest reason I need to reboot

I honestly have no idea what everyone is talking about here.

I have owned my Q10 for four months now and I never rebooted the phone just for the sake of rebooting.

The few times I had to reboot my phone are:
    - OS updates (mandatory reboot)
    - When I completely drained my battery once.

And that's it. I don't keep count on how often I reboot; I get no lags and no bugs.

Maybe it's because I never install any of those "leaks"?

I've been having a lot of rebooting lately but I think it's hardware related...every time I put my phone down somewhat hard it reboots. Pretty annoying

The only time I rebooted is when I switched batteries back in May. Sat in the hospital while my nephew was in surgery for 11 1/2 hours and had to use my spare battery. Other than that-only when I updated the software.

Looks like battery is loose. I had same problem with Q10. Solution is to buy 3rd party battery with better capacity or fill the space between battery with rubber or something like that.

Having Q10 for year, I can say tha BlackBerry has the worst quality control I have ever seen.
From HW side - I have fourth device, all had defective keyboard and two of them battery to.
From SW side - BlackBerry release OS version and if users finds out bug they say him that it's known, lol. Some bugs I am having are from 10.1, they are documented in knowledge base but nobody from BlackBerry doesn't give a ***. They just say to downgrade to 10.0 or wait for another versions. I am waiting half a year now and still now fixed.

Between 2 week to 1 month!, or maybe more. I only reboot when a app give me a unspected behavior. But since Im in BB10 I forgot about weekly reboot.

Alas, my device has started rebooting on its own again, after months of being extremely robust. Last update seems to have caused issues. :-(

I never "need" to reboot my Verizon Z10, but I swap Sim cards every few weeks or so which of course reboots it.

Ever since BlackBerry fixed my random reboots problem many, many OS versions ago, it's been a remarkably stable device.

I think it's only with the 10.3 leaks. At least for me that's the only time I noticed it. But it's a leak, so...I knew this. n

Wow I'm really surprised by this, the only time I ever restart my Q5 is when I do a Software update. My CPU is currently on 8% and my RAM is 800mb free.

    Guess I'm lucky??
