I can't go beyond 4 days. Because eventually system starts eating too much of RAM. And my phone even with 400 MB of free RAM starts lagging very bad.

I can go up to a week without reboot. Sometimes more than a week. Sometimes less than a week, because lock screen notification not showing up or toast notification getting error like the picture getting larger, the X to close getting bigger too. If I don't have that problems I'm not rebooting. RAM doesn't affect me so much though:/

I've gone over a week without rebooting. I usually only turn my phone off incidentally (e.g. battery dies) or if I need it to stay quiet and conserve battery (I do know I can turn notifications off). I've never had any of the issues described in this thread.

Are frequent reboots the norm? Or is this some kind of glitch or software shortcoming? I didn't know that's the only way to free-up RAM. Forgive me if this is a stupid question, I don't yet have any user experience with BB10

Sorry to hear this. I can confirm that Z10STL100-2/10.2.1.3247 never lags or reboots itself. Plus, battery is amazing.

I don't believe they are, you can forcefully close applications in Device Monitor.

Just need to reboot my Z30 when using several android apps. Z30STA100-2/10.3.0.700 gets sluggish and leggy otherwise.... bit those are things to expect from a leak...

Some apps do restart themselves anyway after force closing them (Amazon App Store)

When I first got my Z30 last October, I went right through until January without a reboot. Nowadays, I've got a few more android apps and find that I generally give the phone a reboot every week or so.

OS 10.3.0.700 freezes after a day or two but remember, it is not meant to be a daily driver.

It also eats up my device memory. Never had this problem on other leaks.

Yes, every 5 or 6 days, to avoid a loss of text by employing DocsToGo. I make it before DocsToGo does not let me correct any more the file in wich i work (.doc). Erasing one letter and erasing of word (to slide towards the left to erase a word) do not work. Or, but it is rare, open the file is not possible.
DocsToGo: One file with a text of 721 words, 4076 characters, (example) is going to weigh 617 ko. I copy this text. I paste this text on a new file. As a result: the weight of this new file is :37 ko. I eliminate the old file. The weight of a file seems mostly to keep the weight of past transformations made in this file. Problems beyond 1,1 Mo (file size or size of its history) ? I don’t know. But when change history is heavy, access the contents of these files requires me to reboot my Z10 (STL 100-2 OS10.2.1.2977). I restart my Z10, it must, but then i copy this text and paste it to a new file. (example 1,1 mo .. /.. 301 ko ).
For 3 months, I use " Ram Optimiser ". I did not estimate it ... I"ll look settings, available memory. I can't compare it with very effective Blackberry Cleaner of OS7.1.

Hehe, I am having same problems. Only difference is that I have to reboot every 4-5 hours because I am using Czech for typing...And there are known issues with Czech that causes RAM issues and extreme lags. Blackberry "fixing" it since 10.2, at least they say that...

I haven't rebooted mine because of issues since 10.2 came out. I do turn it off occasionally but as I'm typing this it has been running for 9 days and still working as well as it did the first day. System is sitting at 360 MB.
