I have a q10 that no matter how hard i try i cant seem to load .296 bars to .442 i use DDPB to sideload because thats the only sideloading software i was exposed to, i do not know how to sideload in any other way. i really want the missing bars as my phone is empty and useless any help is greatly appreciated and i will follow any procedure that can get me the bars i need, dont worry about posting links as i have them already

Well it's pretty easy , what exactly is happening.

DDPB is not working, i get all the bars out and set up in ddpb then when i go to connect my device it just doesnt connect.

Your turning on developer mode right, don't forget you have to do that.

yes i have done all that,its working all right now it was a java problem but i need 2 things fixed, i need a music bar file because music is not there and i need instructions on how to downgrade BBM to make bbm voice and video work help is appreciated

The best thing to do is download d'arcy tool and sachis then you just get the os you want the bar files from

If you already have the OS on your computer you can extract sys.airtunes (music) from it with Darcy's BlackBerry Tools(DBBT) found im the stickies of this subforum.

As to DDPB not working try using the Google Chrome extension found here:

If you are on a windows machine (pc) go to decice manager and uninstall all references to BlackBerry, i.e., usb, etc....then reconnnect your phone and it will install the appropriate drivers (assuming you have the latest BB Link installed) - This should work for you
