I apologize in advance if this has been covered, I tried a search. How do I ignore the predicted word and just make a space?

Flick up the correct word above the space bar.

Swipe upwards from the space bar
Now why didn't I just try that? I'm getting this flicking thing slowly but surely. Thanks for your help.
Swiping does take some time to figure out the nuances. I pick up my BlackBerry Bold 9780 just to feel the keys...the Bold is not powered up, just need the occasional physical keyboard tactile fix.

I have another question regarding the keyboard. I can't figure out how to use the & and % symbols. I tried swiping, long pressing, no luck. It just toggles between the two. I'm sure the solution is obvious, so my apologies. :o
lol, the "&%" key is to switch the keyboard view to symbol screen #2.
If you press the "&%" the key should change to "123", if you look to the right side of you keyboard, the "&" and "%" should be there.

I knew the solution would be obvious, thanks.
Switching keyboards is as easy as swiping down vertically over the keyboard. Swipe once for !?@, and swipe twice for the next keyboard. It's so easy, gotta love it.
